Spring Break: Day 4
Sick. Sick. Sick. My day has been spent lying in bed trying to feel better. I slept for most of the day. Talked to a friend here and there. Even tried to do some homework. But my eyes got strained. Even now I know that this is going to be a short blog. So now here I sit on the couch hoping I feel better before this weekend. I have a lot of long shifts I need to work and I won't have much time to do anything. I really need to finish my homework before this weekend too, otherwise I will definitely have no time to get it done. Ugh. Being sick is no fun when you can't get important stuff done. Ugh. My prof is not going to like this... Okay, no more staring at the computer screen. Good night everyone. Hopefully I'll feel better in the morning.

Spring Break: Day 3
So I woke up this morning with a sore throat and headache. I decided to not clean the living room & dining room since I had to work tonight. I needed to relax so I took a nap. For three hours... Not a good idea. I woke up from my nap feeling ten times worse than before. I knew I had to go to work though because we need the money and I wasn't running a fever or throwing up. I went to work that night and survived through it all without any problems. I went to bed feeling pretty good. All in all it was a pretty uneventful day, besides feeling a cold coming on... yucky.

Spring Break: Day 2
Today was another cleaning day. However before I went into this cleaning frenzy, I went into Cliff's work and we ate lunch together. He had been telling me about this place called "Ko-Z's" and said it was delicious. I had never been there but yesterday I finally had the chance to. It was amazing! The bread is wonderful and the combination of ingredient. Well, it was exquisite. I was very happy we went.
Afterwards I went into Barnes & Noble to play with a nook. I had seen these everywhere at b&n but never stopped to find out what exactly it was. After looking it up on the internet and playing around with one at the store I have decided that I really like it. It would be very nice to have one to carry around since I always have a book on me. Normally I don't find that too bothersome, however it is very difficult to carry around a 400 page hardcover book when I already have a laptop and other textbooks and folders on my back. So I consulted with Cliff & my mother and let them both know that a nook is something that I would really enjoy receiving for my birthday or Christas. Birthday would be better, but I'll take what I can get. =)
So back to the boring cleaning portion, the office was the focus for today. The office is so messy that it counts as two rooms. Yes, it was messier than both the bathroom and living room combined. The main reason for that is because it was already messy being as it was my office originally so there was a lot of random things lying around. Then on top of that I was doing some scrapbooking so that got scattered around very quickly. So I had to find a special spot for all of my paper and stickers and what not. Finally I got everything picked up and in places that I was satisfied with. So now I have an office again! Yay!
After that I went across the street to Stacie's new apartment. We hung out and watched some Rugrats, while her son was still awake, then we watched Ace Ventura: Pet Detective. Then when Cliff got there we watched Anchorman. It was a good night but by the end I was ready for some sleep. So Cliff and I walked across the street in the rain and crawled into bed. So warm and comfy.

Today started off quite well. I slept in until 11:00. That was amazing. I think my body just naturally needed the sleep since I didn't have to force myself to sleep in. Yay. After that I came out on the couch and watched some television. After about an hour I got up and started to clean the bedroom. That took way more effort than I had originally planned. Sadly after a while of picking up items off the floor my back started to spasm. Not cool. I had to keep going though since this is the only time I have off or enough time to clean.
After that I moved on to the bathroom. The hard part was the floor around Abby's litter box. With my back acting up and how much of a mess there was, I had a tough time getting it all clean. I did get it all done though. Which is making me incredibly happy. Walking in there with nothing sticking to my feet is amazing. Same with the bedroom, being able to walk in there without stepping on anything is phenomenal. I absolutely love it.
Soon after I finished all of this Cliff came home and we were able to spend time together. He made some Tuna Helper and we watched Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story. The rest of the night was spent cuddling and him giving me a back rub in hopes that the knots causing the spasms would come out. He did a very good job and I went to bed sleeping soundly.

Random Ramblings
Today is an another tough day in class. We're talking about light-boxing in class but since I missed last week I have no idea what he's talking about. I'll be getting help from my classmates but they've been gone all week at the DEX competition. I haven't had time to ask my prof for help either because I've been up to my ears in the budget for Adfed. I'm loving the challenge, don't get me wrong; but my blood pressure must be through the roof!
On a totally different and completely random note I want to know why my cell phone is dying so quickly. It's only happened the last couple of days so I am hoping that it's just a fluke. Oh well.
I have been snowboarding more this year than normal which is great. However, I do miss having a companion with me. I am hoping that someone will be available for at least one of the two nights so I at least have someone to ride up the lift with or to meet up with in the warming house for hot cocoa. Oh well. Maybe some Friday evening Cliff can come with me. That'd be nice. I would love to have him come with.
Our Valentine's Day was pretty uneventful. I worked that entire weekend so we didn't see much of each other. We did go out to eat at Anton's. Delicious. However, I should get back to class.

Spring 2010
A new semester began on Monday. I am taking five classes total. Mostly web classes which I am really looking forward to. I am also taking Spanish and Media Research & Planning. I am rather nervous about Spanish since I haven't had a class like that in about 5 or 6 years. Media Research I am not too worried about it just so long as I do my work and start it right away. I am looking forward to choosing a company and doing research on them. Spanish I am very excited about because then I will become fluent in it and (hopefully) that will make me more appealing on an application. Otherwise of course I am going to love my web classes. Being nerdy about that kind of stuff is my passion. However I might be singing a different tune by the end of the semester. I really hope not.
Otherwise my days this semester are going to be very long. I start class at 9:00 in the morning and then go until 4:00 at night on Mondays & Wednesdays. Then on Tuesdays & Thursdays I start at 9:00 as well but this time I go until 6:00. Then on Fridays I have class from 8:00 until 12:00. Yeah... definitely going to be a long semester. I will try to make the best of it though and survive through it all.
